The head of state traveled to speak to defense personnel in the Donetsk region on Tuesday. Zelenskyy announced that he met with warriors at the command post of the initial brigade of the state defense force Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya zone, a location approximately a short distance from Pokrovsk.

Intense Situation in the Region

Recent mapping from a national effort showed that Russian forces had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and its environs, though a large portion was not fully held by any party.
